Continued support from Parochial Church Councils, particularly St James' Piccadilly

The Parochial Church Councils of Pakefield (Suffolk), St James’ Piccadilly, (London), St James Walton and St Peter’s Wellesbourne (Warwickshire), St John’s Whetstone (north London), St Nicholas Allestree (Derby) and the Wealdstone and Yealmpton Methodist congregations have all been most generous. Several have also provided Volunteers to Grahamstown and St James’ Piccadilly has kindly made its Church Hall available in recent years for our AGMs.

Channing Junior School's record fundraising efforts!

Channing Junior School for girls in Highgate Hill, north London, selected Amasango as their chosen charity for their fund raising events in the winter term 2008. As a result they donated more than any other school or church has given us in any one year. Thank you !

In Northern Ireland, the Clabby and Fivemiletown Methodist Churches have been faithful supporters for several years.

Cake sale at James Allen's Prep School raises funds for Amasango!

Following a talk by a Trustee, James Allen’s Prep School for girls in East Dulwich, south London decided to donate the proceeds of the homemade cake sales at their bonfire night party to Amasango. We were selected as the charitable cause in the current year of one of their four houses.

Volunteer from Jersey fundraising for Amasango

Through the good offices of an Amasango Volunteer who teaches there, Les Quennevais School in Jersey, the Channel Islands, sent us a handsome donation from their fundraising activities.

Thanks to Southwold (Sole Bay) Lions club

Southwold (Sole Bay) Lions club voted to send a handsome cheque after one of their members had heard the school’s principal, Jane Bradshaw, speak of the school’s success in giving destitute children a new start in life.

One of the Friends of Amasango gave a talk to Southcove Trefoil Guild who agreed to donate a cheque from their funds, thank you.
