Amasango School's Mission

Our mission is to provide a learning environment in which severely socially marginalised children may develop into confident, productive, independent and inter-dependent members of society, ready to enter the world of work. To achieve this, Amasango Career School works to:

• Create an environment where children can learn.


• Develop and use an adapted State Curriculum.


• Teach practical workplace related skills which are linked to the adapted curriculum.


• Meet the developmental needs of each individual learner.


• Develop a mutually supportive team of hard working, creative staff, committed to the ideals of service and meeting the needs of the individual child.


• Teach the ideals of self-motivation, confidence, responsibility, self-respect and mutual respect for all who work and learn at Amasango.
  
• Practice and teach the Christian principles of love and forgiveness.
  
• Develop a holistic approach to each child.
