Become a member of the Amasango Management Team
We are looking for talented and committed individuals who are willing to be part of the long term success of Amasango.
If you have skills or experience in the following disciplines; legal and compliance, financial reporting and governance, marketing and fundraising or IT and would like to join the management team in making a difference to the street children Amasango support we would like to hear from you.
Your application should provide us with as much information as possible as we cannot make any assumptions about your knowledge, skills and abilities and so your CV and covering letter will provide the only information that we have about you.

What does it mean to be a “Friend” of Amasango?
A Friend is anyone who supports the Friends of Amasango charity with prayer, by promotion amongst friends, by making a donation or who has been a volunteer at the school. A quarterly newsletter keeps Friends up to date with what both the U.K. charity and the school in South Africa.
What does it mean to be a “Member” of Amasango?
A Member is a “Friend” (see above) who demonstrates that he or she will bring real benefit to the Friends of Amasango charity through any or all of the below:
- Fundraising and/or a significant personal donation
- The recruitment of volunteers
- Active promotion of the charity among potential sponsors
- Willingness to attend General Meetings
A Friend may apply to the Trustees or be invited to become a Member. In adjudicating this the Trustees’ decision will be final.
A Member is entitled to vote at General Meetings of the charity and is eligible to be elected as a Trustee at the AGM. Members will be active in shaping the agenda and objectives of the Friends of Amasango, in holding the Trustees to account by their informal contributions throughout the year and by attending the AGM. The quorum for General Meetings is the greater of 5 Members or 10% of all Members.
