Congratulations to Harriet on completing the Great North Run for Amasango!

After spending two weeks volunteering at Amasango’s school in South Africa, I really wanted to do something more for the charity.

Having successfully got my place on the Great North Run through the general ballot, I decided to use it as an opportunity to raise funds for the kids at Amasango. Through the generosity of family and friends I managed to raise over £500 for Amasango!

I completed the run in 2 hrs 19 and would encourage anyone else to undertake a similar project for Friends of Amasango, there are plenty of 5k or 10k runs and cycles for those of you not as crazy as me!
