Fundraising at St John the Apostle Whetstone

Our Annual Christmas Charity Raffle to benefit the Amasango Career School in Grahamstown, South Africa took place on Sunday 15th November 2009 at the 11th Finchley Cubs Christmas Fair.

A big thank you is due to all who worked so hard to make the outcome of the Raffle so successful this year. A special thank you must go to the members of our Junior Church who sold many of the tickets on the two preceding Sundays. Not only was the raffle successful but the Teas and Cakes stalls ably managed by members of St John’s also added to the amount raised.

The total raised including a cash donation came to £280. Well done everyone!
